Connecteam Pilot — Privacy Notice & Voluntary User Agreement
Effective Date: July 13 2025
Applies to: All Monical Pizza ("MPC") members who have been invited to test the Connecteam tool.
1 Why You’re Seeing This
Your General Manager (Austin)—not corporate HQ—is experimenting with Connecteam to fix communication & training gaps that the central office hasn’t addressed. Think of it like our private Facebook group, only better organized. The pilot was not created or mandated by headquarters.
2 Participation is 100 % Voluntary
Install, uninstall, or ignore the app at will.
Opting out (now or later) will NOT affect pay, scheduling, promotion, discipline, or PTO approvals

3 Time Clock & PTO Rules Stay Exactly the Same
Connecteam is not an official punch clock. Continue clocking in/out on the restaurant terminals under the correct role, or your wage rate will default just like always.
PTO requests still go through the normal web or paper forms.
4 What Data Might Be Collected—and Why

We do not extract contacts, photos, biometrics, or data from unrelated apps.
5. Who Can Access Pilot Data?
Store‑level project team (GM & designated leads) to refine training and workflows.
Corporate HQ: only if you voluntarily show them your screen or we provide aggregated, non‑identifiable stats for demo purposes. They cannot demand raw, individual data.
6. How Pilot Data Cannot Be Used
Write‑ups, suspensions, terminations, demotions, or bonus adjustments.
Schedule cuts or undesirable shifts.
Any other retaliatory move.
Attempting to weaponize information from this pilot constitutes retaliation and exposes the actor (corporate or otherwise) to serious legal consequences.
7. Your Rights
Access – Ask what data we have.
Correction – Fix inaccuracies.
Deletion – Remove your pilot data at any time.
Withdraw Consent – Leave with zero repercussions.

8 Security Basics
Data is encrypted in transit & at rest. Access is limited to the store pilot team. No data is sold or shared with third parties.
9 Professional Conduct Reminder
Treat Connecteam like any public break-room board: be respectful, refrain from harassment, and avoid leaking confidential information. Follow existing handbook policies.
10 Updates to This Notice
Material changes will be posted in-app and on the store bulletin at least 7 days prior to their effective date.
11 Acknowledgment
By tapping “I Agree” or using Connecteam you:
Confirm that participation is fully voluntary and store‑level, not corporate‑mandated.
Understand that timekeeping/PTO processes remain unchanged.
Permit the store pilot team to process your pilot data only as described.
Acknowledge that Connecteam data cannot be used for disciplinary action, demotion, or termination, and any attempt to do so is considered retaliation.
If you don’t agree, simply decline the invitation—no questions asked.

Connecteam — Voluntary Usage Agreement
Effective Date: July 13 2025
Applies to: All Monical Pizza ("MPC") members who have been invited to test the Connecteam tool.
1. Purpose of This Agreement
This Agreement governs how you may use Connecteam during Austin’s store‑level pilot. The app is an experimental tool designed to streamline communication, schedule reminders, and facilitate microlearning. Nothing in this document supersedes existing handbook policies or clock-in procedures.
2 Voluntary Participation
Using Connecteam is 100 % voluntary. Declining or quitting the app will not impact pay, scheduling, promotions, PTO approvals, or any other employment terms.
3 No Change to Timekeeping or PTO
Official Punch‑Clock Remains Law. You must still clock in/out on the restaurant terminals under the correct role. Wrong role = wrong wage, same as always.
PTO requests continue through the established paper/web forms.
4 Acceptable Use & Professional Conduct
By joining the pilot, you agree to:
Behave professionally. No harassment, discrimination, bullying, or posting of offensive content.
Protect confidentiality. Do not share company/customer data outside authorized channels. No screenshots to social media.
Keep it legal. No infringement, malware, or other unlawful activity.
Stay on mission. Use Connecteam exclusively for legitimate work-related communication and training, not as a substitute for personal social media.
5 Prohibited Uses & Retaliation Shield
No Weaponizing Data. Information seen or generated inside Connecteam cannot be used to issue disciplinary action, demotion, termination, or unfavorable scheduling. Any attempt to do so is considered retaliation and may expose the actor—and MPC—to legal liability.
No Corporate Overreach. Corporate HQ may request aggregated, anonymized stats, but cannot demand individual employee data unless you personally provide it.
6 License & Intellectual Property
App License. Connecteam Inc. grants you a limited, revocable, non‑transferable license to use the app for the duration of this pilot.
Store Content. Training modules and procedures remain the property of MPC.
7 Disclaimer of Warranties
Connecteam is provided “as‑is.” MPC and Austin make no warranties—express or implied—regarding uptime, feature availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
8 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Illinois law, MPC, Austin, and their representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Connecteam.
9 Termination of Access
You may leave the pilot at any time by uninstalling the app and notifying Austin.
We may end or pause the pilot without notice. Upon termination, your access will be disabled and any non‑essential pilot data will be deleted within 30 days.
10 Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, excluding its conflict of law rules.
11 Entire Agreement & Severability
This document, together with the separate Privacy Notice, constitutes the entire agreement regarding your participation in the Connecteam pilot. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remainder of the agreement shall still be in effect.
12 Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By tapping “I Accept” or otherwise using Connecteam, you:
Affirm that participation is voluntary and store‑level, not corporate‑mandated.
Agree to abide by the Acceptable Use rules above.
Understand that pilot data cannot be weaponized for discipline or retaliation.
I have reviewed the separate Privacy Notice, which explains what data may be collected and your rights.
If you do not accept, simply decline the invitation—no questions asked.
